IIMC Dhenkanal

IIMC Dhenkanal, was set up in August 1993 as the first branch of IIMC New Delhi, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Govt. of India.It imparts education and training in journalism and also undertakes media studies and research. Located at a hill side overlooking a picturesque valley on a 7 acre campus, the institute, presently runs two regular P.G.Diploma Courses in English and Oriya Journalism . It has undertaken various training and Research programmes including CNA( Communication Need Assessment) Study for State AIDs Cell and Assessment Study of NGOs working for tribal comunity for Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India.O
